Series & Parallel Pump Variable Speed (SMT-FM-22-A)

The purpose of this apparatus is to study and measure the characteristic curves of centrifugal pumps operating in series and parallel configurations. It helps students understand the performance behavior of pumps under different conditions and the effect of varying speed and flow arrangements.

The design includes two centrifugal pumps fitted with pressure and flow sensors connected to a microprocessor-based measuring system, safely housed within the unit. The measured values are transferred to a PC via USB for real-time monitoring and analysis through the supplied software. Its compact and clear layout ensures easy operation and accurate results for experimental work.

This apparatus is useful for classroom demonstrations as well as laboratory experiments. It provides practical knowledge for students, enhances understanding of pump performance, and supports engineering applications where accurate study of pump characteristics is required.
